Who am I, better known as the cow lady but in real life my name is Regina. I live in the beautiful Garden State of New Jersey which is slowly turning brown do to lack of summer rain. Now maybe I should correct myself all it has done the last 2 weeks or so is rain and thunderstorm, my pool over floweth.

I have 3 children but I can't reveal names, now can I. Who knows who may be reading this, and I woudn't want to embarass them...now would I. (shhh... (hi... Dawn, Everett and Kari) ...shhh). Dinner will be ready in a while, let me know when the flames are getting over the top of the grill. I love char burnt food, now I was instrumental in the development of the "blackened" method of cooking.

Now what do I do.. alot, way too much and never enough for my children (according to them). In my spare time I love gardening, decorating and rearranging, and I also love cooking but since webtv I haven't had much time for that. For many years I was a Real Estate investment consultant, working with the development of investment portfolios as tax shelters...another words I sold houses...LOL. Actually I ran an office and worked in the commercial development end of the business.

My favorite pets...got to tell you it was never my idea to have a ferret but my daughter moaned and groaned and moaned and groaned and after many headaches I gave in. Of course she was going to be responcible for it, feed it clean it train it all those necessary things, well we all know how long that lasted, it never happened to begin with. Now this little guy was pretty smart he knew right off who to play up to, I got the kisses and I got followed around and I also got his occasional accident in the corner to clean up. He was a real love, and I adopterd him by possession....he is mine, you guys stay away go play with your friends.He was just a little over a year old when he suddenly died from cancer.

My heart was broken and so were the kids, the house felt so empty. Life just wasn't the same with that constant ball of energy. So I guess you can say it was in "memory" of him we decided to get another ferret, and we did! Then shortly there after a friend that was college bound had to give hers up and guess what...we had two! There were many questions I had about ferrets but the books I bought were really inadequate, a salesperson in print, and the pet stores seemed to know less except for the price.

So Christmas 1998, my kids bought me a webtv, I guess you could call it "Fatal Attraction" because once I got that box opened and the thing runnng well.... I have been addicted. Took me only 3months to get it running I am not electronically inclined,opening thatbox was the hard part. I read every scrap of information I could find on ferrets.

I didn't spend any time in the chat rooms but went to the newsgroups that dealt with animals. Can you tell I like animals. Being a newcomer to the world of the internet I knew very little, to me netiquette was a new ping pong game. I was on a puter news group one day and got a lashing out, for something I said, it didn't bother me but then another webbie came to my defense...Carol, and ever since that day we have been the best of friends. I can call her my big sister because she is "you know what then me"...LOL (this may get deleted). She knew of an almost deserted web only group and asked me if I'd post there with her and try to get it started again and we did post everyday. It became our private e-mail for a bit and finally the girls here started coming in one by one...just like a herd of cows. They are the most fantastic wonderful group of FRIENDS I could ever want to know, and I LOVE each one dearly...aw shucks...!

My dislikes are easy...mean people and not being able to get on WEBTV. oh did I mentions cows and synthesized voices on the internet (another story)
