Let's see....about me, hmmmm....well, I'm an over 50 gal, living in northern Illinois with 1 bird, 2 dogs, and 3 ferrets. I work full time, but when I'm at home I spend as much time as I can enjoying the company of my pets.

I also inherited a love of photography from my Dad, who was always eager to put on a slide show for anyone who would sit still long enough to see a selection of his pictures. His favorite subject was sunsets, but my interests tend to center on my animals and colorful flowers. When I get discouraged trying to get the animals to stay still, I go take some flower shots. Unlike the animals, except for the occasional wayward breeze, the flowers stay in one spot!

Of all my pets, I have to admit that the ferrets bring me the most joy. They are never in a bad mood, and are always ready to play....and play....and play! Just watching them bounce and chase one another around and under the furniture lifts my spirits.

My interest in the internet began only a little over a year ago, but it didn't take me long to find a group of ferret owners who shared my devotion to these charming little creatures. I work with computer controlled machines all day, and am constantly exasperated by their annoying habits, but as soon as I get home, I'm back at it again to check my e-mail and read the ferret group message board. For some reason I just had to make myself a few web pages to display my favorite photos, and now, here I am on the ferret group site too!
